Rick G. Davis received his J.D. from the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Law, where he was an associate editor of the school's law review and graduated first in his class in 1969. He began his legal career as an associate attorney with the Denver law firm Helmick, Evans & Conover, where he tried cases involving finance, real estate, business disputes and personal injury, and was made a partner. He then co-founded Miles, Miller, Davis & Moorhead in 1973. In 1977, Mr. Davis obtained the first Colorado verdict of more than one million dollars in a personal injury case. In 1978, he and Gary Ceriani formed Davis & Ceriani, P.C.

Mr. Davis demonstrates a rare combination of excellence as both a transactional attorney and trial lawyer. This unique blending of skills provides his clients with a considerable advantage, whether transactional or trial expertise they need.

Real Estate Practice

Over the past twenty years, Mr. Davis has gained extensive expertise in real estate development and has represented national and locally prominent developers, residential and commercial builders, lenders and investors at every stage of real estate acquisition and development and has litigated numerous real estate and business-related disputes. He has developed and implemented the legal framework for several well-known residential and commercial projects in the Denver metro area.
